Championing Local Arts
The Mercury Theatre has long been at the heart of Colchester’s creative scene, producing exceptional performances that showcase both local talent and nationally recognised work. As regular audience members, we’ve seen first-hand the quality, passion, and professionalism that goes into each production. Supporting the Mercury means supporting a vital part of our town’s cultural identity.
For us, local theatre isn’t just entertainment—it’s a celebration of creativity, storytelling, and shared experiences. The Mercury consistently delivers outstanding shows, and we take great pride in helping sustain the artistic excellence that Colchester is known for.
Strengthening Community Connections
Our relationship with the Mercury Theatre goes beyond sponsorship. We believe strongly in being an active part of the communities we work in, and partnering with the Mercury provides meaningful opportunities to do exactly that.
Through this collaboration, we are working together to:
- Encourage community participationin the arts
- Support educational and outreach programmesthat inspire creativity
- Champion accessible cultural opportunities for local residents
- Connect our team with impactful cultural initiatives
These shared goals sit at the heart of our partnership. We’re committed to helping the theatre thrive, knowing that a vibrant arts scene enriches the entire community.
Engaging Our Team
A wonderful part of this partnership has been involving our colleagues in the Mercury’s events and productions. From team nights out at performances to supporting community-driven programmes, this collaboration has strengthened our internal culture as much as it has supported the theatre.
Engaging with the arts brings people together, sparks conversation, and fosters a sense of shared appreciation—values that closely align with the way we work.
Looking Ahead
As our partnership with the Mercury Theatre continues to grow, we look forward to developing even more opportunities for community involvement, cultural support, and team engagement. We are excited to see what the future holds and to continue championing the incredible work the Mercury delivers for Colchester and beyond.
The arts matter—and we’re proud to play a small part in helping them flourish.
